ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SINGING WORKSHOP: GLORIES OF ITALY

Glories of Italy Singing Workshop, with Gary Griffiths: 9th August 2025

We recently hosted another very well attended workshop, with around 50 attendees with some travelling from as far as Edinburgh.

Breathing and posture exercises were followed by some vocal warm-ups.

Gary then put us through our paces with a selection of the very beautiful glories of Italy, including:

• Sanctus: Cherubini

• Graduale: Cherubini

• Panis Angelicus: Palestrina

• Cum Sancto Spiritu : Vivaldi

• Gloria: Vivaldi

And a very lovely version of Caccini’s Ave Maria arranged by Gary himself.

A tiring but exhilarating and very satisfying day.
