Two Singing Workshops announced!

Berwick Arts Choir is delighted to offer you the opportunity to take part in two more wonderful singing workshops this summer - we would love you to join us!

Our workshops will again both be led by Gary Griffiths, who sang with York Minster choir for 20 years, performing both in the glorious Minster and extensively on tour in Europe and the USA. Gary has also trained and directed choirs for performances worldwide.

ADIEMUS - The Power of the Human Voice

We will be entering the world of music for voices alone, including the exciting Adiemus by Karl Jenkins and the gospel classic, Total Praise. More reflective heartfelt a cappella pieces will add to this one day workshop.

Venue: Spittal Community Centre

Time: 10.30am - 4pm

O Lord Open Thou Our Lips

Join us as we explore the glories of Choral Evensong, one of our greatest musical traditions. Revered all over the world, these timeless texts are set to many different styles.

Date: 22nd August 2026

Venue: Spittal Community Centre

Time: 10.30am - 4pm

Cost: £20 - to be paid in advance of the workshop

So whether you are a seasoned chorister or just love to sing we would love to see you at one or both of these workshops.

You can expect a friendly, encouraging and dynamic atmosphere with great music at the heart of it.

Tea/coffee/music will be provided but please bring your own lunch (along with your voice, your energy and your enthusiasm!).
