JOIN THE CHOIR
Berwick Arts Choir welcomes new members in every voice part.​
An ability to sight-read is an advantage, but there are no auditions.

REHEARSALS
There are two singing terms and we rehearse weekly from the beginning of September for the Winter concert and from early January for the Spring concert.
​
Rehearsals take place in Spittal Community Centre (formerly Spittal United Reformed Church), Main Street, Spittal, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 1RD, on Thursday evenings from 7.00 to 9.00pm. There is a short coffee break during the rehearsal which offers an opportunity to meet and talk to other choir members.

There is usually an additional rehearsal on the afternoon of a concert.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
To encourage choir members to continue to engage during the summer break and to broaden our relationships within the wider local music community, we organise social events and have hosted singing workshops, open to all singers, near and far.

New members are welcome to come along to a couple of rehearsals to experience singing with the choir before making a decision about joining.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
The subscription is £100 per annum (or £50 per term) payable on 1st September and, gift-aided, where possible.

Adjustments may be made if you join mid-term. Singers under 25 years old and unwaged do not have to pay a subscription. Details of payment options are available from our Treasurer. Contact us for information.
